Perry Stone Preaching

The Future ~ Genesis In Reverse by Perry Stone

Perry Stone Jr.I think you’ll find this teaching to be one of the most intriguing and interesting subjects ever revealed by the Holy Spirit.

I took some pretty good notes throughout the entire video teaching of Perry’s talk on this subject. I’m posting the text in detail because it seems that the video taping #316 doesn’t always play very well. To see the video of this teaching; click The Future:Genesis In Reverse and view all 3 parts: Otherwise, read on!

A foundational scripture to keep in mind throughout this teaching is Eccl 1:9:

“That which has been is what will be, that which is done is what will be done, and there is nothing new under the sun.”

And again in Eccl 3:14-15, where it says the same thing.

I know that whatever God does, it shall be forever. nothing can be added to it, and nothing taken from it. God does it, that men should fear before Him. That which is has already been, and what is to be has already been; and God requires an account of what is past.

Often we’ve heard that history will eventually repeat itself. For Example:

In the beginning of Jesus’ ministry He fasted for 40 days (Matt 4:2); At the end of His ministry He was alive for 40 days. (Acts 1:3) There’s a pattern of 40 days here.

At the beginning of Jesus’ ministry Satan said “If you are the Son of God…” (Matt 4:3); At the end of His ministry they were saying “If you are the Son of God…” (Matt 27:57-60)

At the beginning of Jesus’ ministry there was a King Herod (Matt 2:1) who died after His birth; At the end of Jesus’ ministry there was another King Herod. (Luke 9:7-9)

Things generally end the way they begin… And as they began, so will they end. History repeats itself.

Take another example the life of Abraham Lincoln and John F. Kennedy (JFK):

  • They were elected exactly 100 years apart.
  • Both of their VPs were born 100 years apart.
  • Both of their assigns were born 100 years apart.
  • Both of them were shot in the head in the presence of their wife.
  • Both lost a child while living in the White House as President.
  • Both foresaw that they were going to be killed.
  • Lincoln was shot in the Ford Theater; Kennedy was shot in a Ford Lincoln automobile.
  • Lincoln had a secretary named Kennedy; Kennedy had a secretary named Lincoln.

These are only just a few parallels showing (Eccl 1:9 – “The thing that has been, so it shall be…”)

Also, consider the parallels of King Herod and to Yasser Arafat:

  • Both were leaders in an area known as Palestine.
  • Both were sick when there was an eclipse of the moon.
  • The cause of their illnesses was unknown.
  • Both went outside their home to find a cure.
  • Both had political dealings with the Jews.
  • Both were hated by the majority of the Jews.
  • Both met with men from Babylon (Magi) and Persian leaders.
  • Both dealt with traitors in a violent manner.
  • Both died in the month of November.
  • It was speculated that both were poisoned.
  • Both had very large funerals in their country.
  • Both had dealings with Bethlehem (Herod is buried there).
  • Both ordered innocent children to be killed (Herod the babies of Bethlehem; Arafat through terrorism).
  • Both were reported dead before they actually died.
  • Both escaped death several times during their lifetime.
  • Both named no successor which caused confusion as to who was in charge.
  • Both lived in a time when Christ was coming to earth.
  • Both were very wealthy-much of it hidden from the population.

Again, what’s most interesting here is that you see how history repeats itself. The history of the past is the prophetic future.

Now turn to Genesis Ch. 11. Going backwards lets look at each chapter and see if there are words, phrases, or clues that parallel the end of days according to Revelation.

Tower of BabelChapter 11 deals with the Nations and the Tower of Babel:

  • There is a universal language (Ch. 11:1-2, 4, 9)… Today, English is the universal language.
  • Also, a group of men came from the east from the land of Shanar; A tower had been build and was destroyed.

Now if we look at what has caused the entire world to change, it’s all centered around 9/11. The “War on Terror” has affected the world. A group of men who are from the East came and destroyed the Twin Towers.

What’s interesting is that the tower of Babel fell in Babylon; which is today Iraq where war is fought and people are scattered. You say, “ok”, but keep reading!

Chapter 10 has a pattern that deals with the Sons of Japheth who are Gomer, Magog, Madai, Javan, Tubal, Meschech, and Tiras:

This is important because one of the events that HAS NOT happened yet is the “Battle of Gog and Magog” of Ezekiel Ch. 38 & 39.

Gen 10:10 talks about the kingdom of Babel (a picture of Iraq). Verse 25 talks about “Peleg”, which in the Greek means “Earthquake”, “Division”, “The Earth was Divided”. The parallel is that these are the same territories that are spoken of in Ezk 38 & 39 as signs of the End-Times.

Chapter 9 discusses the days of Noah:

And in Luke 17:26 it talks about “And as it was in the days of Noah, so shall it be also in the days of the Son of Man.

Now notice these three clues:

  1. Gen 9:6 – “ Whoever sheds man’s blood, by man his blood shall be shed; for in the image of God he made man”. This is a warning about shedding innocent blood which is going on all over the word today with abortions.
    Days of Noah Ark

    The Days of Noah

  2. Gen 9:21 – Noah planted a vineyard – “Then he drank of the wine and was drunk, and became uncovered in his tent.” The pattern here is drunkenness as Luke warned about as a sign of the last days (Luke 21:34).
  3. Gen 9:22 – “And Ham, the father of Canaan, saw the nakedness of his father, and told his two brothers outside.” Vs. 25 “So Noah awoke from his wine, and knew what his younger son had done to him.” The pattern here is homosexuality and its acceptance world-wide.

Chapter 8: One of the main themes listed here is the Dove, which is mentioned three different times in verses 9-12. According to Matthew 3:16, the Dove is a picture of the Holy Spirit.

This is a picture of God pouring out His Spirit in the last days, which happens prior to the Lord coming for the Bride (Rapture). We can of course already see an outpouring of the Spirit during the last century. More so as of late where you see more Baptists, Catholics, Lutherans, etc. being baptized in the Holy Spirit. It’s not just limited to the Charismatic churches any longer.

Chapter 7: One of the keys here is in verse 11:

“…on that day all the fountains of the great deep were broken up, and the windows of heaven were opened.”

This alludes to terrible weather patterns coming (i.e., Tsunamis from the “deep”, and Hurricanes/Storms from the “windows of heaven”.) As birth pains come upon a woman with child, so will there be more upon us very soon.

Chapter 6: It tells us that the earth has become extremely populated.

And “that the wickedness of man was great in the earth, and that every intent of the thoughts of his heart was only evil continually.” “And that violence had filled the earth.”

This is already happening and will only continue to happen until the Lord comes.

Now in 2 Thessalonians 2:7, the bible speaks of when violence reaches it peak, or that the cup of iniquity is full, the Lord returns and the “Man of Sin” is revealed.

The Rapture of the SaintsChapter 5:24: This is where Enoch is out walking with the Lord and is caught up, or translated to Heaven to be with the Lord. This is a picture of the Rapture.

Chapter 4:8: Here you have Cane killing Able. And we know from the bible that people will be killed and martyred for receiving Jesus Christ during the Tribulation period.

Then in verse 15, you have a Mark being put on Cane’s head. This could be a hint concerning the “Mark of the Beast”, that will be on the Right Hand or Forehead, which is found in Rev 13:16. Could this be yet again, more proof of a Pre-Tribulation Rapture?

Cane is also saying that his punishment will be 7 times or 7 fold… And the coming Tribulation period is 7 years in length split into two periods of 42 months (Rev 11:2, 13:5). This is an allusion of the Tribulation Period.

Isn’t this amazing how God appears to be letting us know the future by these patterns and parallels?

Chapter 3: This chapter deals with the binding of Satan.

Verse 15 says, “I will put enmity between you and the woman, and between your seed and her seed; He shall bruise your head, and you shall bruise His heel.

Therefore; after the Tribulation God deals with the binding of Satan Rev 20:2-3.

“He laid hold of the dragon, that serpent of old, who is the Devil and Satan, and bound him for a thousand years; and he cast him into the bottomless pit, and shut him up, and set a seal on him, so that he should deceive the nations no more till the thousand years were finished. But after these things he must be released for a little while.”

This is the predicted defeat of Satan.

Battle of Armageddon - Binding of Satan

Chapter 2: After the binding of Satan; Jesus rules and reigns for 1000 years.

Verse 2:1 says: “Thus the heavens and the earth, and all the host of them, were finished.” V4 “This is the history of the heavens and the earth when they were created…” This could be alluding to the Millennial reign of Jesus Christ.

Then after the Millennial reign we step into Eternity where everything is created perfect.

Chapter 1: Everything was perfect at the time God created the Garden of Eden.

It’s going to end the way it started!

Check this out:

In Chapters 1&2, there’s NO Sin, NO Pain; NO Sorrow; NO Death; NO Mention of the Devil; and God walks with Man; and the last two chapters of Revelation there is NO SIN; NO Pain; NO Sorrow; NO Death; NO Mention of the Devil; and God walks with Man. It’s going to end the way it started.

Our God is a God of patterns, symbolism, types, and shadows. In order to tap into the deeper things of God you have to know how God works.

Remember Eccl 1:9 “That which has been is what will be, that which is done is what will be done, and there is nothing new under the sun.”

One of the main key points to this entire study is how in Ch. 5 Enoch is translated (Raptured) to Heaven BEFORE the Tribulation of Ch. 4.

Although this is a very unique way to look at scripture and it’s only a theory; it very well could be true.

Thx for the reply Kyle… Although I certainly understand your feelings towards TBN, I personally cannot stand the golden furniture channel myself; however, I’ve followed Perry’s ministry over the past 8 years or so, and although energetic at times, I believe he is extremely anointed in his teachings, especially regarding his Pre-Trib position.

If you were to also study, learn about Jewish culture (particularly their Wedding Ceremony and Cultivating and Harvesting of crops), I believe you will see the pieces of the mystery of the Rapture unfold before your very eyes.

A wise person once told me also, “that’s it’s not very wise to criticize someone who is most likely bringing more people into the Kingdom than you are.” The timing of the Rapture isn’t going to keep someone from being saved… we will all find out the truth sooner than later!

Thanks for putting this here. I really like Perry Stone, and had heard about the teaching, but I missed it when he presented it. He has said a lot of things that were consistent with my own thoughts about prophecy, and it is nice to have confirmation.
I also like the teaching ministries you have listed.

I think prophecy is so interesting. I can hardly wait until the Lord returns. And he is so gracious to give all this to us, to unravel and discuss, so we will be prepared for him.

I will be looking around on your page some. Thanks.

    KE,

I humbly dissagree. Perry Stone sells Communion Packages with communion wafers and a juice vial for 39.99 and claims it will heal you. This is blasphemy.

Kyle – Respectfully, either you have not seen this teaching on “The Meal that Heals” and jumped on someone else’s bandwagon without researching the facts or you simply cannot interpret what you read very well.

First of all, I have seen this teaching and nowhere does Perry allude that “His kit” will get you healed. Perry is not offering healing, he’s simply offering a tool to help build your faith; and through great faith healing can occur.

Luke 7:8-10 “For I also am a man placed under authority, having soldiers under me. And I say to one, ‘Go,’ and he goes; and to another, ‘Come,’ and he comes; and to my servant, ‘Do this,’ and he does it.” When Jesus heard these things, He marveled at him, and turned around and said to the crowd that followed Him, “I say to you, I have not found such great faith, not even in Israel!” And those who were sent, returning to the house, found the servant well who had been sick.

The whole purpose of communion is to symbolically reflect upon or remember what Christ did for us on the cross and that there is now a new covenant through His blood; and that by his stripes we are healed.

Second, the communion kit comes in a black leather pouch including scripture verses, 2 stainless steel cups in a holder, a juice vial, funnel and communion bread container. You must supply the wafers and wine yourself.

I would encourage you to actually watch the teaching:

Meals That Heal: Part 2 – Mystery of the Body/Blood of Christ

    KE,

I have an excerpt from an interchange with Paula White and Perry Stone which clearly points to the Prosperity Gospel influence :

Paula White: “I believe that as you take communion that there is protection through that blood. Then the bible declares that the blood not only saves us, not only protects us, but it also provides for us. You said there’s a couple that we know very dear that had a financial need.”

    Perry Stone: “Yes!”

Paula White: “And their father, a great pastor, pastor Scott told them God gave him a revelation.”

    Perry Stone: “Yes.”

Paula White: “To take communion once a day.”

Perry Stone: “He said, ‘Take it everyday and as you’re praying thank God for blessing you financially. Thank Him that that’s part of the provision. They needed $50,000 and they got an amazing, remarkable $50,000 miracle, this couple did!”

Paula White…”Call that toll free number! We want you to get the ‘Meal That Heals!'”

My point is that the Prosperity Gospel as promoted by preachers today is false. It is merely a way for the Pimps to drive Bentleys, gulfstream 5s, and multi-million dollar mansions.

    Kyle,

I certainly appreciate you trying to keep an eye out for the false teachers; however, Perry is one of the good guys.

Case in point; the article that you posted above is Paula White asking Perry to validate something that he heard. Then she was the one to recommend his product in the context that you are accusing him of. Now Paula herself I agree, is among the prosperity preachers, but Perry isn’t.

I have followed Perry for eight years now and I can bear witness that he never asks for money on his programs to his regular audiences. However, he will, and will ask for donation help on the back end of his CDs/DVDs and of his “registered partners”… but never to the general public. I also know that he only draws a $60k p/year salary from his ministry through his board of directors. Besides, he believes we’re out of here soon and therefore, doesn’t care about prosperity on earth as the others do.

On another note; and I love ya bro… but the two websites you posted above do not mention Perry Stone whatsoever. The Pulpit-Pimps site I’ve already heard of and would agree with a lot of what is posted there.

So I would encourage to spend a little more time with Perry and I believe you will truly be blessed. Otherwise, we will just have to agree to disagree.

He always has great, fresh new topics that really causes me to dig deeper into the word to find greater revelations of God.

If you take this concept of reverse Genesis, wouldn’t this mean the rapture of the church would be on Pentecost. Since we received the Holy Spirit on this day wouldn’t reverse order mean we’d be raptured on this day?

    Reply Reply June 17, 2008

Hello Drew… thx for the comment.

I’ve found information that points to both Pentecost and Rosh Hashanah… If it is to be on Pentecost, I believe it would have something more to do with the “Festival of the Two Loaves” rather than the birth of the church in Acts. Look for the Two Loaves meaning.

In my opinion, I believe, based on some pretty solid scripture, that it could be this coming Rosh Hashanah (Sept 30-Oct 1, 2008) or next Pentecost (May 29, 2009), if it is a Pre-Trib event. The key is in Dan 9:24-27.

I thank God so much for my brother Perry, i have come to a more solid understanding in the Bible, on what he is teaching, truly he is a man of God. I want to say this much, Psa 105:15 Saying, Touch not mine anointed, and do my prophets no harm., let us be careful what we say about a brothers or sisters ministry and be above the putting down or gossiping and keep them lifted up in our prayers, they have enough battle on their hands with the Devils attacks from all ungodly directions. So please, SHOW the Love of God by praying for them even if you don’t agree they are still in the front lines, and lets ask ourselves “what are we doing for the Lord”, cause his word does say…Isa 1:18 Come now, and let us reason together, saith the LORD: though your sins be as scarlet, they shall be as white as snow; though they be red like crimson, they shall be as wool… so instead of looking at them with a wrong attitude and trying to find blame, pray that no matter what Jesus will be the victor for someone who is lost, Kyle pray for them, there are many many diversities, theories, and beliefs in the world, only God knows a mans heart…plus always ….There is none good but GOD, that means we are all on the same level *raises hands and praises* thank the Lord for his Mercy!

I feel that Perry Stone has been given the gift of Prophecy by the Holy Ghost. I am also very knowledgable in this as well.

Perry has a better understanding of the WORD translation which adds even more to my understanding.

In closing here’s a great verse for the END Times and if you can figure it out, you’ll have a date of proximity of the redemption of the church.

Eze 4:5…. Lev 26:21 is the key..

To help you in the math, Israel (10 tribes) were removed in 722BC by the Assyrians..

Also there is NO Zero 0 year but started out year 1AD.

So if you answer comes out to 2008 years.. then you have to add 1 year for the lack of Zero year which pushes it to 2009AD..

    God bless..

I just found this site by accident (there are no accidents). I am thrilled to find more information about bible study and all things concerning Jesus. Let us all realize that Perry Stone is just a man, however he is a man that promotes the word of God. I grew up in a small town that Perry Stone lived in. The people there have a rich history of Bible study and worship. I believe that Perry Stone is a called man of God snd teaches the truth. With that said, we must still remember that he is still just a man and subject to mistakes, and instead of bashing him, we should pray for him and his ministry. We should also strive to at least do as much for the Kingdom as he does. The world doesn’t need anymore armchair quarterbacks.

    Thanks for listening,

True, we all make mistakes which is the human side of us. However, as true followers of Yahweh, we should forgive any mistakes made by others as we would like to be forgiven of our mistakes.

I feel that Perry Stone gives his very best to the service of Yahweh and I have heard him correct a mistake if he becomes aware of it.

I’ve liked Perry Stone since the first day i watched him. He confirmed something in my spirit that the LORD laid in my heart several years prior to listening to Perry. I learned about the “Reverse Genisis Theory” a long time ago.. that’s just a fancy name for Redeemed. If you redeem something you take it back. If you redeem your car that’s repossessed you take it back & if they repo man scratched it or put somethings out of place. A true car lover will restore it back to the way they had it. Fix the scratch, wash it wax it, clean inside, vacuum…They will get that car looking just like it was never repossessed or stolen.. Well the same thing with the redemtion of the world. No matter when, now matter how GOD said it will be done. Jesus paid the debt and now we wait for him. Ever been in jail?? Once you find out bond has been posted…Waiting to be released after bond posting seems like forever…but, you have to wait on it….Please stop getting caught up in the details, do what Jesus said, Pray, & be watchfull ((not to the point where it takes away from your duties to minister the basic gospel truth))….Do his work, love one another as Christ loves us. If you get to Caught-up in seeing who is and who isn’t the antichrist and what day of the rapture is, you’ll slip up and get left behind. If Noah’s sons’ stop helping build the ark to look for signs of rain…they would have missed the boat. Instead they caught on to what their ‘father’ was doing got involved, and lived. I see a great number of people being mad at GOD becuase they where to busy looking for the rapture instead of waiting for to come. don’t llet that be you…I’m not saying to stop checking the clock…to see where we are at in GOD living word, but don’t be consummed by it…

Sorry about going off on a tangent.. I just want to get to that day where I see him crack the sky & every eye shall behold him…So I can jump for joy.. That way i can confirm the world is flat… :) :)

GOD bless my brothers & sisters in Christ Jesus..

I often hear and read comments about Perry Stone. some make me laugh, and others I just have to shake my head at in disbelief. I have known Perry Stone since 1978. At that time Perry was just a tall skinny kid excited about the call of God on his life. Perry has always been a great man of prayer. His study of the scriptures was, and is a top priority. Perry remains the same humble person I knew him to be 30 years ago. I believe Perry has an anointed ministry Because the Lord can trust perry with the gifts he has received.

This is a question regarding the origination of the Church.(body of Christ).
Was the church started at Pentacost or
Was the church started on Resurrection day

This could make a big diffeence when teaching
about the Baptism of the Holy Spirit.

The Lord gives believers the gift of disernment when listening to Ministers, pray for this gift. I have been in the ministry for over 60 years and have seen many ministeries grow and become great people of God, and I have seen too many fall by the wayside. I suggest we should all pray for one another that God’s kingdom be advanced. God can show his children the errors in their lives.

As to the Day or the Hour……what about him coming like a thief in the night means that we’re supposed to know? Jesus repeatedly talks about his Second Coming and ALWAYS says that nobody knows, so stay awake, be alert, and be ready. As for the Rapture, again, I’m pretty sure that when the Bible refers to this “two men standing on a hill, one is taken away…the other left behind”. That neither of the two men knew that one was going to be taken from the earth.

And, in my opinion, the fact that Jesus says he is coming back for a “pure and spotless Bride” means that rather than looking at the clouds hoping for the day when they will part, we need to be looking at our hearts…and at the church…and seeking the direction of the Holy Spirit so that we will be ready.

Furthermore, I believe that more important that any study on the rapture, or the tribulation, or anything of that matter (Which…if you believe in a pre trib rapture…why are you so worried about the tribulation to begin with?) Anyways…I believe that more than any study on the end of the earth…what’s incredibly more important is 1) LOVE the Lord your God with all your heart, mind, and strength and 2) LOVE your neighbor as yourself.

Any person, on this site or any other end times prophetic site, who hurls slandor, accusations, and general hatred at ANY PERSON…Obama, Clinton, Pelosi…the list goes on…is not walking in a spirit of love…which is greater than the spirit of prophecy.

We are living in the end times, sure, but do you really want it to happen now? What about your unsaved friends? You have some…don’t you? What about their soul? What about eternity in hell for unreached people groups? What about your unsaved family members? Shouldn’t you rather be praying for their salvation rather than their damnation?

    Just a thought.

One last closing thought….I’ve been reading end times “prophetic” websites for the past 2 hours now and quite frankly am really disturbed. Whether or not Perry is legit…is not my problem. Whether or not TBN is legit or not….is not my problem. They will one day have to stand before the Lord and give an account of thier lives…just like I will…and just like you will. I think we forget that sometimes. I hope Perry is legit. Only God really knows….man has proved time and time again our AMAZING ability to be deceived rather easily.

I love Perry Stone and I have read his books, seen his videos and I have not heard many who have the revelation this man has been given. I believe if you disagree with anything then you either misread it or you can not see or hear what he is seeing/hearing because you have not yet reached that level. You can not compare prosperity teachers to the like of Perry Stone, especially those like Paula White. Taking Communion every day is not about MONEY. Money is not prosperity. One needs to be careful in taking Communion. Do as you are led to do. It took time for me to reach every day and there are other levels. Some ministers will not speak against Prosperity people because they fear they might lose money themselves, this is sad. A big problem are those who get saved and begin preaching while they are still students and go out and preach much error. Those who believe they are the “Church” today are NOT the Church and few who know better do not have the ability to stand up and speak the truth. They are filled with fear. There are a few who speak the truth and I respect them very much. It is time everyone learns it is better to hurt the feelings of a man than to not speak the truth. He knows the truth, He wants the truth known. Perry Stone, J.R. Church, and others that I enjoy. I like Marilyn Agee who so many mock due to date setting. I admire her, she does not say thus saith the Lord and she does not give up nor is she moved by so-called Christians who mock her for this. She knows scripture. Those who mock her, do not. I believe the Lord is pleased with her, she does not leave Him alone, she longs to be one of the wise in the last days who will know. Daniel speaks of them. She is filled with the love for God. It is not becoming to laugh at those who love God knowing God loves this person. I am not speaking of those haughty, arrogant ones who seek money in prosperity and the dollar and things become what is sought after, not God. Scripture says we will be known for our love for one another. I don’t see much love, do you? Divorce is ok today for ministers (God and His Word did not change). A sign one is a believer in many churches today (not The Church) is you are wealthy, you possess things, you are not sick, etc. HIS CHURCH is not necessarily churches who open their doors for so-called WORSHIP and who collect tithes in the place of the HIGH PRIEST JESUS today. HE WILL COME FOR HIS CHURCH AND MANY MAY BE SURPRISED AT JUST WHO IS THE CHURCH!!!!!

With regards to TBN, I have mixed feelings on the subject. There is an awful lot of prosperity preaching and begging on TBN and quite frankly I’m tired of cliche’ rhyming preaching with 3 words that all start with the same letter…
However Perry Stone is on a completly different level then ANYBODY on TBN. Which is why they don’t have him on very much…they have told him to tone down his views on Islam (out of fear) in fact I don’t even believe he is on TBN anymore. Just like Hal Lindsey…the truth got to be to much for the Crouches so they canned Hal and tried to muzzle Perry.
On the other hand I know people such as the guitar player from Korn and the sex-worker in Vegas (I forgot her name) both came to the Lord at a point of near suicide by flipping on the TV in a hotel room and there was TBN….so….

Perhaps, the focus should not be an emphasis on the
topic of prosperity of the here and now.
Both the here and now, of all ministries and the Secular appears to be, in the nartual world confirming
    the Word of our God.
So were do you place your prosperity and how do you serve God today ?
Does what you do today ,not also serve a future prosperity?

Once again I want to thank you for all you have done
top futher the word. If I lived 3000miles closer, I’d be in the front row every time you would go to preaching.
Man I love your message every time I can find you on TV. Our kids out here on the west coast need you ever
so much. May the LORD richly bless you folks.

I love Bro. Perry Stone. I believe he is an anointed man of God. I have been watching and listening to his teaching for 7 years now. I thank God for him.
And I pray that God will keep anointing him to bring more the word of God. God bless you my sisters and
brothers in Christ. Stay humble as always.

Once the salt of the earth is removed(believers of Christ)then the earth loses its flavor and the Anti-Christ is given his short time.Where is the arguement?
Nothing happens before the Rapture that we are not experiancing already, now, here, today. I look forward to showing Jesus what I have done with the talent He gave to me.
Im a Christian Artist and a web site to show my work is located at…http://brovisions.com/…and I wish everyone a happy Rapture.

Hi Kay… Thanks for visiting my site. I’ll try to point out, in my opinion, where else you can find some verses that pertain to a “Rapture”. I’ve always kept in mind that scripture interprets scripture. If you find one verse that is interpreted one way then you should always be able to at least find two others to back it up. All throughout Jewish culture they have, (God points out) “two witnesses” for validation; therefore, I believe this also relates to scripture.

The Pre-Trib view is the most logical view in my opinion, of second coming scriptures when taken for their plain, literal meaning whenever possible. Many of the details can be pieced together from various passages of Scripture, no matter what view you take. It is the only view that distinguishes between Israel and the church, and the only view that takes God at His word and claims His promises literally to save us out of the wrath to come.

Rev 3:10 “Because you have kept my command to preserve, I also will keep you from the hour of trial which shall come upon the whole world, to test those who dwell on the earth.”

1 Thes 1:10 “…even Jesus who delivers us from the wrath to come.”
Romans 5:9 “…we shall be saved from the wrath to come.”
1 Thes 5:9 “For God did not appoint us to wrath…”

The Tribulation is that in which Jesus describes in Matt 24 and Luke 21.

1 Cor 15:51-52 “Behold, I tell you a mystery: We shall not all sleep, but we shall all be changed— in a moment, in the twinkling of an eye, at the last trumpet. For the trumpet will sound, and the dead will be raised incorruptible, and we shall be changed.”

John 14:1-3 “Let not your heart be troubled; you believe in God, believe also in Me. In My Father’s house are many mansions; if it were not so, I would have told you. I go to prepare a place for you. And if I go and prepare a place for you, I will come again and receive you to Myself; that where I am, there you may be also.

Phil 3:20-21 “For our citizenship is in heaven, from which we also eagerly wait for the Savior, the Lord Jesus Christ, who will transform our lowly body that it may be conformed to His glorious body, according to the working by which He is able even to subdue all things to Himself.”

The Pre-Trib view explains why the church is not mentioned from Rev 4:3 to Rev18. Other views have them awaiting the Tribulation, the Antichrist, and suffering. The Pre-Trib view preserves the credibility of Christ’s word that Christians will be kept from the Tribulation, or the “hour of trial”. If Christians are among the martyrs of Rev 7:14 who are killed during the Tribulation, then wouldn’t it be fair to say that the Lord hasn’t kept his promise of Rev 3:10?

Therefore, I believe we can rest upon what Paul tells us in 1 Thes 4:13-18 as a comfort passage.

“But I do not want you to be ignorant, brethren, concerning those who have fallen asleep, lest you sorrow as others who have no hope. For if we believe that Jesus died and rose again, even so God will bring with Him those who sleep in Jesus. For this we say to you by the word of the Lord, that we who are alive and remain until the coming of the Lord will by no means precede those who are asleep. For the Lord Himself will descend from heaven with a shout, with the voice of an archangel, and with the trumpet of God. And the dead in Christ will rise first. Then we who are alive and remain shall be caught up together with them in the clouds to meet the Lord in the air. And thus we shall always be with the Lord. Therefore comfort one another with these words.”

These verses should be enough to get you started, but the one that I continuously remind myself of is Luke 21:34-36:

“But take heed to yourselves, lest your hearts be weighed down with carousing, drunkenness, and cares of this life, and that Day come on you unexpectedly. For it will come as a snare on all those who dwell on the face of the whole earth. Watch therefore, and pray always that you may be counted worthy to ESCAPEall these things that will come to pass, and to stand before the Son of Man.”

Also, check out the “Rapture” tab at the top of this site!

The “Day or Hour” txt I believe references His second coming… and NOT the Rapture… by studying Jewish history and culture… the clues to the mystery become more clear. Elijah knew when he was leaving in advance… and likewise, I believe we will too!

Kyle no where in scripture is there a picture of a Mid-Trib Rapture and the Church comes back with Jesus at the height of the Battle of Armaggedon and that rules out a Post-Trib Rapture. There are pictures all thru the Bible of a Pre-Trib Rapture. Those pictures are called “Types & Shadows.” There are also “Cycles, Layers, & Codes,” that indicate or give the impression of a Pre-Trib Rapture.

After 40 years of Bible Study with several degrees, I have not found one person (including Mr. Hunt) who can biblically support a Post-Trib Rapture. If the Church does go into the 7 year tribulation period, it has to leave before the Midway Point where Anti-Christ declares himself God in the Rebuilt Temple (Abomination of Desolation). From that point on Satan (Anti-Christ) tries to kill all of man kind thru various means and God pours out his bowls & vials of judgements on the Earth. The Church my friend was never intended for wrath (by God). God is not interested in beating up his wife the Bride (True Church).

    I hope that helps you.

Kyle, the church comes back with Jesus at the battle of Armaggeddon. That means the church is raptured before the end part of the tribulation. That means there can not be a Post Trib Rapture. Maybe you should rethink you position on this one. If you wait for the end, you will miss the rapture, because it is not at that point.

Hope that helps you. I have talked to numerous other Post Trib Rapture people and after this simple explanation, have not found one who still holds to Post Trib.

    God Bless

Yes W sides thank you for the up lifting word and many proofs of the truth. We do have the Holy spirit given each day and to make ready with the extra oil. The trumpet feast is coming and the Angels that are coming are getting more than ever before. The powers of darkness are openly showing and testing the saints. When in school at CFNI we learn and helped many make it into ministry. Our prep for china an America was all worth the prep that now is keeping us in comunion and intersessions of power prayer for Israel and what is left of America. many blessings in the truth of God’s word Chuan Xihu Eugene

I have watched Perry for years and only one thing bothers me. well.maybe more than one, ane thats the rapture theory. I do not find the rapture anywhere in the Bible. 1Thessalonians or 2 thessatonians is not a reference for the rapture. If its in there, someone tell me where. I want facts, not conjecture or someones interpetation of the Bible. It does not need man to interpet it!
